About Us
-
Crossview Christian School exists to shepherd each child into a personal faith in Jesus, equip students with a biblical worldview, and pursue academic excellence within a Christ-centered community.
-
Crossview Christian School aspires to be a leading, accessible, Christian school in the greater Conejo Valley, serving a community of students and families Preschool through 8th grade. CCS will remain committed to offering a single class per grade, while fostering a tight-knit school family rooted in Christ’s character. We will equip students with a strong foundation in scripture, history, literature, mathematics, science, arts and athletics, preparing them to navigate a secular world while reflecting Christ.

God: We believe in one true and eternal God. He exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is righteous in all his ways.
Jesus: We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the eternal Son. He is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins and rose bodily to life three days later.
Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts people of sin, and is the indwelling comforter and guide for all believers.
Scripture: We believe the Bible is the Word of God and is the complete and final authority for Christian faith, teaching, and living.
Creation: We believe everything was brought into existence and is sustained by God and his creative intentions should be honored in all aspects of life including the sanctity of life from conception and one’s God given gender.
Humanity: We believe God created mankind in His own image, male and female. That all mankind has inherited a sin nature from birth, have alienated themselves from God, are under His just wrath, and are incapable of pleasing Him by their efforts alone.
Redemption: We believe that salvation and the gift of eternal life can only be attained by confessing Jesus Christ as personal Savior through faith in His substitutionary death and the shedding of His blood on the cross.
The Church: We believe the Church is the spiritual body of Christ on earth composed of those who have received Jesus as Savior.
Judgment: We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish His glorious Kingdom in its fullness and raise the dead for judgment; believers to everlasting life with God and unbelievers to enduring separation from God.
Marriage & Family: We believe the traditional biblical view of marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman as delineated in Scripture and that the family is the primary context for the discipleship of children.
Politics: We believe our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and that all other allegiances are secondary. For this reason, we do not believe that it is consistent with our mission to endorse political parties or politicians.
Christ-Centered:
At Crossview Christian School, our aim is to walk alongside each student as they develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. It is our desire to expose each child to the love and saving grace of God, that they may be equipped with a foundation of truth that is centered on Christ.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
- 1 Corinthians 3:11
Academic Excellence:
Our rigorous academic program challenges students to think critically, inspires them to apply knowledge and skills in practical ways, and prepares them for the next step in their educational journey. CCS adheres to high academic standards and equips and nurtures its students to become curious, lifelong learners who discover and use their God-given talents to grow into thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate individuals prepared to positively impact the world.
“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
- Proverbs 9:9-10
Biblical Worldview:
At Crossview Christian School, we maintain a biblical worldview. The Bible is taught as the inspired word of God and serves as a foundational lens for every aspect of academics, extracurricular activities, and beyond. Each lesson is rooted in biblical truth and students are taught how to apply this truth in belief, word and action. Students are empowered with clarity and courage, and instilled with a confidence to view the world through God’s word.
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
- Colossians 1:16
Community:
At Crossview Christian School, we value community and fellowship; meaningful relationships that reflect the character of Christ are an integral part of the life of our school. Students are encouraged to build strong connections with their peers and teachers. Parents are invited to partner with teachers and school staff to actively promote an atmosphere of love, respect, and empathy, where each individual is valued for their unique qualities and contributions as a creation in God’s image. Students are taught the importance of compassion and service to others, reinforcing the belief that a life of faith is not only about personal spiritual maturity, but also about living out this faith in community with others.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
- 1 Thessalonians 5:11
